Waxing facial hair - For Girls?
I have hair on the sides of my face and my chin. I don't have enough money to get something like laser hair removal. I've been told the next best thing to do is waxing. I'm worried because I already have super sensitive skin and I'm afraid my face will be red for days afterwards. Waxing is not the answer for facial hair. I had some hair on my chin and when I started waxing it, the hair got thicker and darker and I needed to wax them every week. It became very ugly. It only did my problem bigger. My face became red for a day and it is a bit sensitive.
The best thing is laser. It needs to be done a few times but eventually the hair goes away. I've tried it and I'm very pleased.
I wax my eyebrows and I dont have any problems with redness or bumps and I have very sensative skin. I do, however, get red bumps on my bikini area for a couple of days after waxing. Everyones different so I would suggest that you go get it done and see what happens. Nobody can tell you how your skin will react.

Find a good Esthetician in a reputable spa and have her analyze your skin. Then have them try a few small sections at a time. (The corners of your lips or a small part by your ear...) Don't jeopardize your whole faced and risk a horrible break. Work your way up. Some of my clients use a clay mask the night they are waxed and then two more nights after that and they seem to do just fine. Some can't handle it at all. You will never know til you give it a try.
Some medications (topical or oral) will make the skin too sentive to wax so communicate that info. to your Esthetician.
Just make sure you don't go when you are too close to your monthly cycle either way because the skin is much more sensitive and it will hurt more and you will be more likely to break out from it. Plus the hormones will make it grow back faster so its not worth it. Make sure you limit your sun exposure prior to and after your wax and don't tan 48 hours before and after. This may cause your skin to tear or stay read longer. AND PLEASE DON'T WEAR RED OR PINK WHEN YOU GO TO GET WAXED BECAUSE THIS WILL ONLY ACCENTUATE THE REDNESS.

A lot of the time, guys with black or really dark hair have like the mexican mustache going on. That looks gross.
The guy I like has facial hair and he has dirty blonde hair, and the facial hair looks good on him. Well, I think so. My friends say he looks like Shaggy from Scooby Doo or a billy goat :/

There are hair removal creams available at many pharmacies for cases like that.. you could also wax it, but that might be pretty painful.. but it's better because the hair would not grow back as fast as when you shaved it..

The hair removal cream works too, but it can get expensive and not always good for sensitive skin. I just learned how to thread and now I absolutely love it. Threading is an Indian technique for removing hair (usually eyebrows) but can be used for anywhere. Facial apperance will get someone's attention (if it's quite nice or quite odd/unappealing) but how long that attention is held depends on more than looks.
I've dated a number of guys (and had crushes on) that were not handsome men in the face, but something about them (that spark/chemistry) attracted me greatly. i think that beauty SHOULD be in the eye of the beholder but quite often that's not the case. most girls will want the guy to be quite good looking so that they will actually want to get to know them- here's some tips (tho really it depends on each different girl)...
1. NO facial hair (would you wanna kiss a girl with a moustache?)
2. spotty guys are quite repulsive especially if they have yellow heads (that's a spot that looks like it needs to be squeezed)!!! try and clean up any blemished skin girls normally like a guy who actually cares about his appearance without being too self obsessed
3. wash the hair- there's a guy in my year who never washes his hair and takes pride in that! then he wonders why he doesn't pull any girls!!!!!seriously really long, greasy hair looks unattractive
i'm not saying these tips are garunteed but they will get you on the way

im probably the least shallow person you will ever meet. If I meet a guy first and hes nice and funny and has a good personallity then looks dont matter. but sometims i wont get to meet a guy because if he looks nerdy or something i just think he must have a nerdy personality too.
If you are funny and quirky and interesting, self assured, then that shows on the outside. I go to school with a guy who is very good looking but has a bad acne problem. He knows his stuff, is confident and funny. I look right past it! Too bad he is too young!!

Who has the right to say if a person is ugly or not just by looking at them? I personally believe and go by, never judge a book by it's cover. You have to read it first to give a proper report. I wouldnt say ';pretty'; for sure! What one person finds attractive, another might not. Depends on the person, and just because they look good on the outside, doesnt mean they have anything good to offer on the inside. I've dated all sorts of guys, and from personal experience, the 'pretty' ones dont have alot to offer besides a hole to blow into on the sides of their heads. Not to say all are like that, but most....they would rather examine their pecs than have an intellegent conversation.

I am a girl. Well...for me, I don't judge a guy by his appearance...not facial anyway. But its how he carries himself among people...how he dresses...and his body language. Vulgarity and rudeness is a no no for me.
So...essentially, the beauty is in the character. Of course, being presentable (which not necessarily mean good looking) in appearance is a plus point:)
